CHRISTOS YEROLATSITIS

Christos Yerolatsitis is a Cypriot jazz pianist deeply rooted in the post-bop tradition. A graduate of The Royal Conservatory of The Hague and Conservatorium van Amsterdam, he has collaborated with artists like Erik Truffaz, Gilad Atzmon, and Benjamin Herman. Since 2024, he has been a faculty member at Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music.

ABOUT

The Cypriot jazz pianist Christos Yerolatsi3s was trained in the post-bop tradi3on for which he has a deep apprecia3on, and which remains big part of his musical persona. His proficiency and personal style in the genre haven’t gone unno3ced by both his peers and listeners alike, and have led him to work and record with numerous musicians and projects around the world.


Christos was formally trained in The Netherlands where he received a BA degree in Jazz Performance from The Royal Conservatory of The Hague (2013) and an MA degree from Conservatorium van Amsterdam (2015).
He has collaborated with ar3sts such as Erik Truffaz, Gilad Atzmon, Benjamin Herman, Eef van Breen, Ranjit
Barot, Sabir Khan, John Marshall, Masa Kamaguchi, Horacio Fumero, Amos Hoffman. Since September 2024 he is a faculty of “Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music” in Riga, Latvia.
